Glasses made using blown glass create irregular shapes due to the delicate and complicated methods of glass blowing. Despite the irregular shapes and thinness of the glass, they are all of the same weight. Such thinness is obtained by using borosilicate glass known for its flexibility and resistance to both high and low temperatures. The production is particularly complex and a high percentage of glasses are rejected due to too much irregularity in the shape and weight of the glasses.
